2007... ch ch ch changes

I said things would be a bit different in the New Year and what better way to start than a new banner?  The new banner was a collective creation between Meshee, Mindy & Myself...

Duane you ask, what other changes to have in store for us?  I'm
so glad you asked.

A few months ago I was chatting with my buddy Dr. Mary of lovely Ft Collins Colorado and asked if she still read The Zinful. Her reply? Not really, it's just not for me.   Slightly miffed, I asked her why.  She made a couple of valid points...  I had told her that the blog would be an educational blog. A place to teach "neu foodies" about wine, how to shop for wine, cooking, what kind of cookware she should buy to make these fabulous new dishes (since all of her cookware is cheap stuff from garage sales) and last but not least, recipes for people who work six days a week and don't have the time for "event" cooking.

With that in mind I invented a new phrase for great food for the working people...  "Easy Fru". Just because it's quick doesn't mean it has to be bland or from the microwave.. . In the coming days, weeks and months you'll see all of those changes and more at The Zinful.   A little something for everyone is my hope.

I shamefully am with Mary....
I can't wait to see the new stuff....

Mindy- I know, I know.. She was one of about six people who talked to me about it. See, this proves that I listen.
By the way.. I so love the new banner we created :-)

Welcome back, Duane, in whatever form you choose. But I'm confused. Fru? As in Fru Fru? So easy fru fru food?? Or something else. As I say, I'm confused!

Love the banner! I could go for those scallops right now.

Alanna- Thanks... Yes, easy fru fru food :-)

Kalyn- I agree they make me hungry every time I look at them

Love the new banner and I'm pretty sure I'll love whatever other new changes you feel like making!

Those are scallops?
